I'm not really sure why its not working, as I've had no trouble with any of the other meeting platforms out there, (skype, gotomeeting, zoom, meet), its just the teams audio.Īs a sanity check I did test this on multiple different systems, on multiple different networks. It sounds like teams has some sort of auto gain control ramping and rolling off audio, but I can't find any settings to turn it off. I feel like there should be a way to make this work. For sync I was also outputting program on that HDMI loop back. The only thing I have gotten to work has been setting audio output from vmix to an HDMI output on my GPU, then using an h264 encoder to bring it directly into teams. Teams just does not hold the audio clearly. Again, it works for a few seconds and then fades out.įor both of those methods, I've tried adjusting gain settings up and down and it doesn't seem to have an effect. I've tested at all available input volumes in the NDI settings. I've tried taking the output from vmix to teams using NDI with the virtual input application. It works for a few seconds and then fades out. I've tried setting my program audio out to a virtual cable and taking that virtual cable as the microphone input on teams. For some reason I cannot get teams to pass the audio cleanly to the participants on the meeting. I've got my external vmix output pushing, and picture looks great.

I need to figure out how to push an output to it. But, in the even that they want to go with standard Microsoft Teams. We're trying to get them onboard with using Microsoft Stream for Teams Webinar, which gives me an RTMP to output to. I have a client who is deadset on using a meeting platform, and after running into a wall with GoToWebinar having a hard limit of 15fps for video playback, they want to try and use Microsoft Teams.
I've been having some trouble sending audio to Microsoft Teams today, was wondering If I've gone down the right path or not.
